Fullbore Target Rifle is .308W (7.62) or .223 (5.56) calibres

"F" Open Class Scope Rifle any calibre up to 8mm (This competition commenced in 2000-2001)

"F" Standard Class Scope Rifle .308W (7.62) or .223 (5.56) calibres (This competition commenced in 2004-2005)

Competition is contested over 300, 500, 600, 700 and 800 metres (Club rules state to be eligible for club championship the compeitior must complete all stages of the competition to qualify).

MDRA champion - At the end of the year the champion from each club within the Metropolitan District Rifle Association No 1 compete to win the MDRA champion of champions.

NSW Champion - At the end of the year the champions from each District Rifle Association within NSW compete to win the NSW champion of champions.

Note:

From the 2011-2012 shooting year 400 Metres has been dropped from the competition, therefore the maximum score for Target Rifle will be 1000/1000 (previously 1200/1200).  Commencing 2018-2019 T.R. will be the best one range from each contested, (300, 500, 600. 700 & 800 Metres therefore the maximum score for T.R. will be 500/500. 

Both "F"classes (F.O. & F.S.) will be a maximum score of 1200/1200 from 2017-2018, previously 600/600 and 720/720).

NOTE:  The 2021-22 competition year was severely impacted by Covid and the extreme wet weather which fell in the Sydney Metropolitan area throughout the year resulting in FO & FS competitors not being able to complete their second range at two distances as required by the club's rules.

As per the NSWRAI change in Junior grading the club voted to amend its constitution to change the junior status within the club to comply with the NSWRAI grading i.e. clubs are eligible to enter a junior under 25 years and a junior under 18 years to compete in their respective category. A junior under 18 may compete in the junior under 25 or senior category if they win these categories.
